FAQs
How do I choose the right absorbent period underwear for my body?
Everyone has a different body and flow. This means you need to choose the best period underwear for YOUR needs.
Make sure the underwear fits you perfectly. You want the underwear to hug your body comfortably to make sure they are leak-proof. Keep in mind that it is natural for your body to bloat when on your period so don’t choose a size that is too tight.
Our absorbent period underwear has 5 levels of absorbency. If you have a heavier flow, you should invest in the ‘heavy’ or ‘super heavy’ period underwear. If you have a lighter flow, the ‘lightest’, ‘light’, or ‘medium’ absorbencies are perfect for you.
How many absorbent period underwear do I need?
We recommend investing in 4 – 6 period underwearwith different absorbency levels so that you have period underwear for the beginning, middle, and end of your period.
How do I know when to change my absorbent period underwear?
This is different for everyone. Absorbent period underwear can be used for 4 – 12 hours, depending on your flow. If you have a heavier flow, you will have to change more regularly.
If your period underwear feels wet, the ‘super absorbent layer’ is full, meaning that is time to change. Listen to YOUR body.
How do I wash my absorbent period underwear?
After use, rinse your period underwear with water to wash out the blood. Place your period underwear in the washing machine with all your laundry. Make sure you use a cold or delicate wash. Don’t stress, your period underwear will not stain your other clothes.
If you don’t have a washing machine, you can hand wash your period underwear with cold water.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Do not iron. Hang to dry.
