How do I wash my menstrual cups?

Sterilization:Β Add boiling water to your sterilization container. Put your cup into the sterilization container and close the lid. Wait for 5 minutes to disinfect your cup. Carefully pour the hot water out of the sterilization container and then remove the cup. Let the cup cooler down before use. Store your cup in your pouch until needed.

Daily use:Β Rinse and dry your cup in between daily uses.

How do I use my menstrual cup?

Always wash your hands before inserting or removing your cup.

Inserting: Squat to open your hips. Fold your cup using a method that suits you. Aim your cup towards the back of your tailbone and gently insert it into your vagina. Keep it folded until fully inserted then allow the cup to β€˜pop’ open. If need be, rotate your cup to ensure that it is completely open. Gently pull on it to make sure that it is in place.

Removing: While sitting on the toilet, spread your legs to open your hips. Pinch the base of the cup to break the seal. Hold the base of the cup and slowly pull with out, while keeping it up right to avoid spillage. Empty your cup into the tiolet, wash it with the bum gun and reinsert.

How often should I empty and reinsert my cup?

Empty and reinsert your cup every 4 – 6 hours, depending on your flow.

Tip: Remove your cup when it is half full to avoid spillage.
